      THIS INDENTURE made the first/2d day of May in year 1724 Between THOMAS EDMONDSON & CONSTANT his Wife & CHARLES BREEDLOVE & MARY his Wife of County of Essex of One part & THOMAS FITCH JEFFRESS of the aforesd County & Parish Witnesseth that Thomas Edmondson & Constant his Wife & Charles Breedlove & Mary his wife by Indenture bearing date before did grant unto sd Thomas Fitzjeffress that piece of Land in aforesd County of Essex containing fifty acres & on one 01 the branches of Piscataway Creek & bounded beginning at a Corner spanish oak corner to the divident & running across the divident along a line of marked trees that divides this land from another passell of ye same divident purchased by WM. DOBYNS, to RICHARD BUSHes Mill Swamp to an ash near JNO STEVENS's Plantation thence running the reverse courses of the Pattent to the aforesaid beginning Spanish Oak corner unto Thomas Fitchjeffress his heirs for and during one whole year and of the Statute for Transferring uses into possession for ever NOW THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH that said Thomas Edmondson & Constant his Wife & Charles Breedlove & Mary his Wife for sum of two thousand two hundred & fifty pounds of good & Lawfull Tobacco paid by Thomas Fitchjeffrey whereof they do grant abovesaid fifty acres aforesaid it being part of a Pattent of One hundred & eighty nine acres of land formerly granted to Mr JNO WEBSTER deced and now doth of right belong unto the said Constant Edmondson & Mary Breedlove as heirs from MARY WEBB deced daughter of the aforesaid John Webster

      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that We Thomas Edmondson & Charles Breedlove are hereby bound unto Thomas Fitchjeffress his heirs in sum of five thousand pounds of good & lawful! Tobacco this 2d day of May 1724.
      THE CONDITION of this Obligation is such that if above bounded Thomas Edmondson & Charles Breedlove do keep all & every Covenants mentioned in the lease & release made unto said Thomas Fitch jeffreys for land lying in the Parish of Southfarnham in County of Essex & on one of the branches of Piscataway Creek containing fifty acres bounded as followeth beginning at a corner Spanish Oak corner to the dividend running along a line of marked trees (across the divident that divides this land from another passel of the same divident purchased by WM. DOBYNS) to RICHARD BUSHes Mill Swamp to an ash near JOHN STEPHENSes Plantation running the reverse Courses of the Pattent to the aforesaid Beginning to acknowledge all such acts for the more firm conveying of the said land according to the true intent & meaning of the Indentures of lease & release then ye above Obligation to be Void or otherwise to stand

      THIS INDENTURE made the 30th and 31st day of May in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and Thirty One Between WILLIAM KEMP of the County of GLOUCESTER in the Parish of Ware of one part and THOMAS FITZJEFFRESS of the County of Essex in the Parish of Southfarnham of the other part Witnesseth that the sd WILLIAM KEMP for the consideration of Twelve pounds of good and law-full money Current of Virginia hath sold unto the sd THOMAS FITZJEFFRESS his heirs and assigns in his actual possession now being by virtue of a bargain & sale for one year and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession and to his heirs all that plantation or tract of land containing One hundred acres in the County of Essex in the Parish of Southfarnham and on the North side of the Northermost Branch of the DRAGON SWAMP and bounded on the South East side by the land of WILLIAM CHEANEY late deced and by the land of ANNE COX and the land now belonging to Mr. ROBERT BAYLOR and opposite to the land WILLIAM COLE and binding upon the aforementioned DRAGON SWAMP including the aforesd Quantity of One hundred acres which sd land is aprt of a PATENT formerly granted to THOMAS WILLIAMSON of this County for Two hundred acres and since by divers Sales did belong on one ROGER BURGYNE deced and now it doth of right belong unto the aforesd WILLIAM KEMP as next heire unto the aforesd BURGYNE deced To Have and To Hold all the premises thereunto belonging unto him the said THOMAS FITZJEFFRESS and his heirs and assigns forever and sd WILLIAM KEMP and his Wife for themselves do hereby warrant and defend the said land.       KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I Thomas Fitsjeffrus have bargained & delivered unto my Son William Fitsjeffrus his heirs and assigns for ever all my personal & moveable estate goods & chattels to wit Cattle hoggs Sheep household goods and moveables for the consideration of the sum of Twenty five pounds Current money of Virginia paid before the Ensealing of these presents and he the sd Thomas Fitsjeffrus are hereby obliged if the same be required that he his heirs etc shall make it appear that all the aforementioned Estate are free and clear from all Sailes mortgages and assignments to any and all manner of persons whatsoever to the Intent that these presence doth forever hereafter fully & absolutely put into possession the aforesd William Fitsjeffrus his heirs forever the abovesd Estate goods & Chattels.
