KNOW ALL MEN by these prsents that I STEPHEN BEMBRIDGE in the County of Rappa:, Planter, for divers good causes me thereunto moveing have sold unto ABELL TATOM of NEW KENT COUNTY, Planter, One hundred & fifty acres of land more or less and lying in Rappa. County begining at a corner white Oake and soe runing along the PATH from the BESTLAND to another white Oake & soe runing along a line of marked trees to a marked Gum in the CALF PASTURE BRANCH and soe tuning down ye aforesaid along MICHALL RAUGHTERYs down several courses of the branch & soe along the outward line of Mr. WM. CLAYBORNE to the place where it began and I doe acknowledge to have received full satisfaction for the same To have and to hold the said One hundred and Fifty acres of land with all priviledges and appurtenances belonging unto the said ABELL TATOM his heirs forever with warranty from all persons that shall claime under me the said TATOM yearly paying the annuall rents that shall become due to his sacred Majtie for the same and I doe further bind myselfe to acknowledge the same at the next Court held for Rappa: As Witness my hand and seale this 4th day of August 1683
