      THIS INDENTURE made the Sixth/Seventh day of April 1723 Between RICHARD LONG of Essex County Planter of one part & EDWARD EVANS of sd County Gent Witnesseth that sd Richard Long for sum of Sixty seven pounds four shilling money of England to him paid hath granted unto said Edward Evans & to his heirs 168 acres & fifty four poles of land being in St Marys Parish &Essex County beginning at a Corner Hickory on Mr JAMES WALKERS line & running thence South West to a Corner Hickory on land of JOHN LAWRENCE thence North West to a Corner white oak belonging to John Lawrence by the Mount Swamp thence North West to a Corner red oak thence North East to ye land of Mr. James Walker thence South East to the beginning (it being part of a divident of land formerly granted unto JOHN GILLET containing six hundred acres of land situate on the South side of Rappa River by grant dated the 28th day of Septembr 1657) all which said premises now are in the actual possession of said Edward Evans by Vertue of Statute for Transferring uses into possession.

      THIS INDENTURE made the twentyeth/one & twentyeth day of July 1724 By & Between RICHARD LONG & ANNE LONG the Wife of the said Richard of the County of Essex of one part and JAMES GILLISON of the County aforesaid Witnesseth that the said Richard Long & Anne Long his Wife for sum of Sixty money of Great Brittain grant and confirm unto said James Gillison in his actual possession and to his heirs forever all that tract of land which the said Long now liveth on being part of a Pattent granted to EDWARD RACKLEY bearing date 21st day of April 1659 for four hundred acres of Land and sixty acres of land joyning to the same being part of a Pattent granted to JOHN GILLET for six hundred acres of land bearing date 1657 containing one hundred and sixty acres of land situate in the Parish of St. Marys in County aforesaid being bounded beginning at a marked hickory standing in EDWARD EVANSes line runing thence North East to a marked hickory standing in ABRAHAM MOONs line thence North along the sd Moons line to the line of MOSSes thence South West to the line of WM, WOODFORDs thence South East to Evanses line where it first began containing one hundred and sixty acres of land

      THIS INDENTURE made the twenty first day of July 1724 By & Between RICHARD LONG of the Parish of St. Marys in County of Essex of one part and THOMAS RENNALDS of the said Parish & County Witnesseth that the said Richard Long for Sum of Ten pounds Sterling money of great Britten by these presents doth grant unto the said Thomas Rennolds his heirs and assigns for ever one hundred and forty acres of land it being the land which is untill now unsold in one Deed of Sale made to the said Richard Long bearing date the 17th June 1721 and made and delivered unto sd Richard Long by BUCKENHAM BROWN which said land the said Buckenham Brown doth hold by Patten granted to PETER CORNWALL dated Anno Dom 1658 and afterwards renewed with addition of Surplus land by him the said Buckenham Brown Anno Dom 1719 sd land being in Essex County and Parish of St Anns and on a Swamp that falleth into Blackburns Creek bounded as followeth begining at a marked beech near a run side it being the most South West Corner tree to a parcel of land wch JOHN VAWTER did formerly buy of said Buckenham Brown thence East to a red oak corner tree to Capt JOHN HAVIVINS patten and also to the line of SAML. STALLORD deced thence binding with the said Stallord line South to a red oak Corner tree to the said Stallord and to ROBERT PARKERs land thence wth the said Parkers line and the line of DAVID SEALs South 61 it cometh to a white oak standing in the said Seals line corner tree to TIMOTHY SWILLEVANs land thence with the sd Swillevans line binding thereon till it cometh to the abovesaid Swamp thence down the said Swamp binding wth the run till it cometh to the first menconed beginning all which land are now in the actuall possession of homas Rennolds by Virtue of the Statute for Transferring uses into possession and also hat the sd Richard Long will acknowledge this his Deed of Lease and Release in Essex unty Court and his Wife ANNE relinquish her right of Dower and thirds in ye Comon Law in ye presents of JOHN HAWKINS, Richard Long
