IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN. I WILLIAM ALLEN JUNR. of the County of Essex and Parrish of Southfarnham being sick and weak of body but of sound and perfect mind and memory praise be rendered and given to Almighty God but calling to mind the frailty and uncertainty of this mortal Life and that all man kind must yield to death when it shall please God to call I do make and ordain this my present Last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say First and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God hoping through the merits Death and passion and intercession of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon and remission of all my sins and wickedness in general and to Inherit Everlasting Life and Salvation through the same Saviour Jesus Christ and my body I commit to the Earth to be decently and Christianly buried at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named; so my soul thus first chiefly I have commended into the hands of God who gave it and my body I have committed to dust in hopes at the Great Day of the General Resurrection it shall rise again to the Life Immortal through Jesus Christ my Lord and also as touching the disposition of such Temporal goods &estate that it hath pleased almighty God to bestow upon me I do give and dispose thereof as followeth viz: first I will that my debts and funeral charges shall be paid and discharged.
ITEM I give unto my beloved Sister MARY ALLEN a Gold Ring.
ITEM I lend to my Reverd, and beloved Father and Mother the land that I bought of WM. HUTSON dureing their natural lives and after their decease I give the said land unto my younger and beloved Brother ZACHARIAH ALLEN to him and his heirs forever and if he should dye without heirs then the said land to return unto my next younger Brother ANDREW ALLEN to him and his heirs Forever, and if he should die without heirs then the sd land to return unto the next Reviveing Heir at law of my nearest relations and all the rest and residue of my personal Estate goods chattles whatsoever I do give and bequeath unto my Reverd, and beloved Father and Mother to them and their heirs forever and I do make my Reverd. Father my Executor fully and solely of this my present Last Will and Testament and my will and desire is that my Estate not be brought to appraisment and I do hereby revoke disannul and make void all former wills and Testaments by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I the sd WILLM. ALLEN JUNR. have hereunto set my hand and fixed my seal this 28th day of August in the year of our Lord Christ MDCCXXXIX

This last Will and Testament of WILLIAM ALLEN JUNR. deced was presented in Court by
WILLIAM ALLEN the Executor therein named who made oath thereto as the Law directs and being also proved by the oath of JOHN ALLEN JUNR. one of the witnesses thereto (who also made oath that he did see BENJAMIN ALLEN JUNR. Sign the same as a Witness at the time he did) is admitted to record

KNOW ALL CHRISTIAN PEOPLE to whom these presents shall come I WILLM. ALLEN of the County of Essex in Southfarnham Parish send Greeting. Know ye that I the sd WM. ALLEN for the Love and affection that I bear unto my youngest Son ZACHARIAH ALLEN Lawful] Begotten by my body I the sd WM. ALLEN being in perfect memory have granted and by this present writing do freely give unto my sd youngest Son ZACHA. ALLEN a certain Tract of land being in the aforesd County of Essex and Southfarnham Parrish containing fifty two acres & half adjoyning upon the Land of SAMUELL WAGGENER and likewise binding on the Land of HERBERT WAGGENER with all my Rights to the sd land with Houses and whatsoever necessary may be found on the same I do hereby give unto my sd youngest Son ZACHA. ALLEN to him and his heirs forever but in case my Son ZACHA. ALLEN should dy without heirs then the said Land I do give unto my next youngest Son ANDREW ALLEN Lawful begotten of my body to him and to his heirs forever and if my Son ANDREW ALLEN should die without heirs then the sd land and all its appurtenances to return to the next surviving Heir at Law of my body begotten to them and their heirs forever to be held of our Sovereign Lord the King his heirs and Successors by the qt rents acres above prescribed. In Witness whereof I the sd WILLIAM ALLEN have set my hand and Seal this Fifteenth day of October in the year one thousand seven hundred and thirty nine
