      Unto my well beloved wife the use of all my real and personal estate during her life or widowhood and after the decease of my wife or at the day of her second marriage to be equally divided amongst my six children now liveing, Francis Haile, John Haile, Thomas Haile, Benjamin Haile, and Mary Edmondson, Susanna Allen.

DAINGERFIELD and WILLIAM ROANE Gentlemen Justices of the peace for the County of Essex in the sum of two hundred & fifty pounds Sterling Sealed with our seals and dated the 21st day of July 1741
      THE CONDITION of this obligation is such that if the above bound SUSANNAH GREEN-HILL Administrator of all the goods chattles and credits of JAMES GREENHILL deceased do make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all the goods chattles and credits of the sd deced the same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited in the County Court of Essex at such time as she shall be thereunto required by the sd Court and do make a lust and true account of her actings and doings therein when thereunto required by the sd Court and also if it shall hereafter appear that any last Will and Testament. was made by the sd deced & the Exr. or Exrs. do exhibit the same in the sd Court making request it be allowed & approved Accordingly if the said SUSANNAH being thereunto required do deliver up her Ltres of Admon approbation of such Testment being first had & made in the sd Court then this obligation to be void . .

CUMTONs line, thence along CUMTONs line to the Main Road, thence along the said Road to PICKETS BRIDGE, thence up the Peiorson to a Corner Ring Oake being a corner between the said land and FULLERTONs, thence along said FULLERTONs line to a corner white Oake being a corner between the said land and the land of MARY DICKS, thence along to the beginning, and all the rents and profits of the premises; To have and to hold the tract of land and premises during the full term of one whole year paying therefor the rent os one Ear of Indian Corn at the Feast of Saint Michael the Arch Angel if lawfully demanded to the intent that by virtue of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession the said JOHN LATANE may be in the actual possession of the premises and be enabled to accept a release of the reversion & inheritance of the same; In Witness whereof the said THOMAS HAILE & ELIZABETH his Wife have set their hands and seals

      thence down the sd. Branch to the Main Pocoson. thence up sd. Pocoson to the mouth of
      the Spring Branch, thence up ye sd. Branch to the head thereof North fifteen degrees
      East one hundred and twenty poles and from thence to the place it first began, with the
      rents and profits of the premises; To have and to hold the seat or tract of land and premises
      with all the appurtenances unto JOHN LATANE and assigns during the term of one
      whole year paying therefore the rent of one ear of Indian Corn at the Feast of St.
      Michael only if demanded to the intent that by virtue of these presents and of the

      Oath that they did see the said THOMAS HAILE sign seal & deliver this Lease as his act &
      deed; And PEGGY PAGGET, WILLIAM DAINGERFIELD JUNR. and the said ARCHIBALD
      RITCHIE made Oath that they did see the said MARY HAILE sign seal and deliver this
      Lease as her act & deed and thereupon the said Deed is admitted to Record and is truly

      THIS INDENTURE made the Twenty first day of May in the Twenty sixth year of the
      reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second King of Great Britain &c., and in the
      year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Fifty three by and between THOMAS
      HAILE and ELIZABETH his Wife of Essex County of one part and JOHN LATANE Gent., of
      same County of other part; Witnesseth that THOMAS HAILE in consideration of the sum
      of Sixty three pounds current money of this Colony to him in hand paid by JOHN
      LATANE by these presents cloth bargain sell release and confirm unto JOHN LATANE and
      to his heirs Three hundred and Twenty four acres of land lying in Parish of Southfarnham
      in County aforesaid being the land which THOMAS HAILE purchased of his Brother
      BENJAMIN HAILE (this Release continues as in the foregoing Lease with the transactions relating
      to the transfers of the land and the description of the bounds); In Witness whereof the said
