      To 2 sons Noble and James, 2 lots of land, lying In Prince George's County, near Piscataway Creek, being laid out in 2 lots of 73 A. each, which sd. land originally belonged to Notley Rozer, Esq., and by him willed to be divided Into lots and sold, which lands are known by name of "Stones Delight," some of it called "Comptons Treatment," and some called "De Cregoes Lott," all of which 2 lots I give to 2 sons Noble and James, to be equally divided bet. them; but: if either die, then the land to belong to my next son John, and if he die without issue, then to my next son William, and If he die without hr., to fall to next son Samuel, and If he dies without Issue, to fall to dau. Mary Eleanor.
      To son Thomas, 5 pounds money.
      Balance of estate to be divided among my children: Noble, James, John, Wm., Samuel and Mary Eleanor.

      Indenture made June 14, 1774; Henry Rozer, Gentleman in consideration of 19 pounds 19 shillings sterling money paid by James Hawkins, Gentleman has sold part of a tract called "Stones Delight" containing 9 ½ acres and lying on the south side of Piscattaway Creek and bounded by the tenement of said tract formerly leased to Ralph Lanham and that part of "Stones Delight" belonging to the heirs of James Cole as by deed of conveyance from Marmaduke Sims. Whereas the sd William Summers is now seized in fee of and in the 4 following tracts of land, viz, Wheats Purchace, originally patented to William Wheat for about 100 acres on about Mar 18, the Resurvey on Strawberry Patch, originally granted the sd William Summers for about 180 acres on about Jan 24, 1755, 8 acres of land part of the second Resurvey on Woolfs Cow, and 50 acres of land part of the sd second Resurvey on Woolfs Cow, the sd second Resurvey on Woolfs Cow having been surveyed for Philip Holt Jr on about Jul 25, 1767, and granted sd Phillip Holt Jr for 2712 acres on about Jul 8, 1768. And whereas the sd Phillip Holt, by his deed, recorded in Liber L folio 130 and 131, one of the Land Records of Frederick County, dated about Dec 15, 1767, conveyed to sd William Summers the afd 8 acres, and sd Phillip Holt, by his deed, recorded in Liber N folio 94, one of the Land Records of Frederick County afd dated about Nov 15, 1769, conveyed to Joseph Newton Chiswell the afd 50 acres, and sd Joseph Newton Chiswell, by his deed recorded in Liber U folio 105, one of the Land Records of Frederick County, dated about Oct 20, 1773, conveyed to the afd William Summers, the afd 50 acres. Now this deed witnesses that the afd William Summers, for 26,500 £Continental money, sells to sd James Hawkins, all the afd 4 tracts of land, namely Wheats Purchace, containing about 100 acres, the Resurvey on Strawberry Patch, containing about 180 acres, part of the second resurvey on Woolfs Cow, containing about 8 acres, and part of the sd second resurvey on Woolfs Cow, containing about 50 acres. Signed - W. (W his mark) Summers. Wit - Cha Hungerford*, Rich Smith*. Mary Summers, wife to the sd William Summers, relinquished her right of dower to the within mentioned land.
