      THIS INDENTURE made this twenty first day of June in year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred & Eighty four Between COLEMAN BROWN & CATHARINE his Wife of County of Culpeper of one part & HENRY CAMP of County aforesaid of other part Witnesseth that COLEMAN BROWN & CATHARINE his Wife for sum of One hundred & seventy pounds to them in hand paid by these presents doth bargain and sell unto HENRY CAMP one certain tract of land lying in Culpeper County on the HUGHS RIVER containing by Estimation One hundred & thirty acres and bounded Begining at three white Oaks, thence North two degrees West sixty eight pole to three small Chesnuts at the mouth of a Branch on the South side the River, thence up the River the several courses to three small Sarsafrass, Corner to WILLIAM BROWN, thence South thirty one degrees West twenty six pole to a parcimmon Bush, thence South four degrees West twenty one pole to a Pair Tree on the North side of a Hill, thence Eleven degrees East seventy six pole to a forked Pine (dead) on a branch, thence up the Branch to a Maple, thence South seventy one degrees East ten pole to a Pine white Oak and Gum on the Road, thence along the Road the several courses to a red Oak & Hickory saplin in HOUISONs line, thence with his line East Eighty one pole to a Pine and two Oak saplins, thence North eleven and a half degrees East to the begining Together with all houses gardens Orchards & appurtenances whatsoever to the same belonging To have and to hold all the premises with the appurtenances unto HENRY CAMP his heirs and COLEMAN BROWN & CATHARINE his Wife doth hereby warrant and forever defend the said tract of land with all appurtenances unto HENRY CAMP his heirs In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto set their hands & Seals this day & year above written
