      THIS INDENTURE made the fourth day of February 1705 & in the fourth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Anne our Queen betwixt WILLIAM CHURCHILL of the County of Middlesex of one part and THOMAS ROBERTS of the same County Witnesseth that ye sd Thomas Roberts for sume of Twenty five pounds good and lawfull money of England sold unto said Wm. Churchhill his heires forever all that ye said Thomas Roberts Plantation thereto belonging whereon his Mother
      ISABELLA HEARN (late Wido and Relict of THOMAS WILLIAMS deced) now liveth being in Middx. County and containeth One hundred and seventy five acres of land as by a Patent dated the twentieth day of April 1657 may more fully appear & is bounded beginning at a white oake corner tree of MR. WADDINGS and COLLO. JOHN ARMISTEADs and running thence by a line of marked trees Southwest to two small hickorys thence North East to a red oak in or near Collo. John Armisteads line thence by his line West to a Chesnutt oake by Barbecue Creek and up Barbecue Creek and branch to ye first beginning place one hundred and fifty acres part thereof formerly due to JOHN BALL by Patent dated the 26th of February 1659 and sold and assigned unto THOMAS WILLIAMS the residue being Twenty five acres of land new found overplus and adjoyning and due
      unto the said Thomas Williams for the Transportation of one Servant & which sold plantacion was granted to ye said Thomas Roberts by the above named Thomas Williams as by his Last Will and Testament may appeare now in the occupation of WM, HEARNE & ISABELLA his Wife and Further that ye said Thomas Roberts and his Wife MARY shall at ye next Court in open Court acknowledge ye said bargained and sold plantacon In presence of us

      At a Court continued and held for Middx. County ye 5th day of March 1703/6 Thomas Roberts came into Court and acknowledged the above Deed to be his act and deed to Wm. Churchhill Esqr. wch was admitted to record Mary also the wife of Thomas Roberts this day appeared in Court and being first examined freely relinquished her right of Dower in ye land which is ordered to be certifyed upon it
