      The last will of Ann Watts
      in the name of God Amen the 21st day of October in the year of our Lord 1756 I and Watts being afflicted with sickness in my body but of good and perfect memory thanks be Almighty God and calling to mind the uncertainty of this life do make constitute, ordain and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form following and being sorry for my sins past humbly desiring forgiveness for the same through the [?] Death and passion of my Savior Jesus Christ I do commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God in my body to be buried in such [?] And Christian manner as to my electrix hereafter named shall think fit and as to my temporal estate I do so order give and disposals the same in manner and form following
      I give unto John Watts one feather bed and furniture
      I give unto Sarah Tole the tract of land I now live on called "Poppens Fields" containing 190 acres. If the said serifs Tole should die without lawful issue in the land to fall to Elizabeth Morris and Mary Morris the daughter of John and and Morris
      I give unto George Tole one young heifer
      I so ordain and appoint my well beloved sister Sarah Tole my soul and only executrix of this my said testament in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this day and year above written signed sealed and delivered as my last will and testament. Ann Watts

      Then Gilbert Anderson, Sarah Tole and Ann Groogin the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing will, being duely and solomenly sworn on the holy evangels of almighty God depose and say they saw the testatrix, Anne Watts, sign the foregoing will and heard her publish and declare the same to be her last will and testament that at the time of her so doing she was to the best of their apprehension of sound and disposing mind and memory and that they subscribed their respective names as witnesses to the said will in the presence of the sd testatrix and at her request, sworn before me, Thomas Aisquith, Deputy Commissioner of St. Mary's County

      The last will of James Watts
      In the name of God Amen the third day of March in the year of our Lord 1756 I James Watts being afflicted with sickness inmy body but of good and perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God, and calling to mind the uncertainty of this life, I constitute ordain and declare thus my last will and testament in manner and form following as for my temporal estate I so order give and dispose in manner and form following
      I give unto John Watts, Junior a young horse about five years old, saddle and bridle and case of pistols to be paid when he comes of age.
      I give to my well beloved wife Ann Watts the tract of land I now live on known by the name of "Pauper Field" containing 190 acres and all the rest of my estate.
      In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this day and year above written

      Henry Fielder, Sarah Tole and Joseph Leigh the subscribing witnesses to the aforegoing all being duly and solemnly sworn on the holy evangel's of Almighty God depose and say that they saw the testator James Watts side the aforegoing will and heard him publish and declare the same to be his last will and testament that at the time of his doing so he was the best of their apprehend of sound and disposing mind and memory and that they subscribed their respective names as witnesses to the will in the presence of the said testator at his request and sworn before us
