Page 193a. Wm. Lambert, aged 28 yeares or therabouts, declareth that being at the house of Wm. Spence the solemnizing of Mathew Steele's wedding some difference did arrise between Mr. Searles and Morgan Jones concerning the plantation that Mr. Searles had sold him. Searles said that Morgan Jones had not given Searles any sattisfaction for the plantation and his reason was that because Capa: Hull had surveighed the land from Searles, and with that Jones his wife caught Searles by the haire and said he was an old rogue and the deponent said civiler languadge would become her.

Warrd's boate hired by Mr. Newton and one of Mr. Newton's servants was in her as Rich: Pullin did declare, and Mr. Newton would meette her at Pattuxon and that boate carried over Morgan Jones' wife.

Denis White is to find three men dureing the said terme to helpe Morgan Jones in makeing of earthen ware and Denis White is to have one halfe of the produce and shall be at halfe the charge for everything execept the 3 hands which is to be uppon his owne account. The cattle and hogges to goe equally between Denis White and Morgan Jones, Jones paying one halfe for them unto Denis White. If Morgan Jones depart this life before he doth pay for them the stocks is to be returned unto Denis White againe.
