IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen. I ROBERT LORD of YEACOMOCO in the County of Northumberland being sick & weake yet in p:fect memory, doe make this my Last Will & Testamt,, in manner & forme following, vizt.
Imprs. I doe give & bequeath my Soule unto God my Creator and my body I comitt to the Earth from whence it came to be buried with Xpian buriall and for my worldly Estate, I dispose of it as followeth:
Item. I give all my p:sonall Estate unto my loveing Wife, MARY LORD, ALEXANDER LORD & JOHN LORD, my two Sonnes, to be equally devided amongst them, onely his two Sonnes to have the two Gunns which be the longest;
Item. I give all my Land unto my two Sonnes equally to be devided betwixt them & not one to sell his part but to the other nor morgage it;
Item. My will is that if my Wife, MARY LORD, doe intend to marry then my will is that p:sonall Estate be devided before shee marry by three honest Neighbors;
Item. I give unto my Servant, SARAH PERGATER at the day of her Freedome one Cowe within the age of five yeares & one breeding Sowe;
Item. I doe engage my Wife, MARY LORD, not to employ any Cooper upon the Land nor to sell any Timber of the Land eyther while shee is a Widdow nor her Husband shone shee shall marry.
Item. I give MABEL MARTHAS, one young Sowe with pigg and one dung-( ) Cock & two hens:
Item. My will is that my two Sonnes live with their Mother while shee is a Widdow, but if shee marry & they have cause to complaine, then to be released by ye Court;
Item, I give unto my two Sonnes my spa( ) & all my tooles belonging to my Trade as Wittness my hand & seale this first day of December 1661
