To son Henry Biggs, tract that he now lives on called "Coombs Purchase."

Recorded Dec 4, 1736. Nov 11, 1736 from Marmaduke Simms of CC, planter, to John Biggs of CC, planter, for 500 lbs tobacco and 20 shillings sterling, and for divers other good causes, all that tract of land called St Georges, lying in CC, bounded by the west side of Piles' fresh in the Swamp, platted and laid out for about 93 acres and 78 perches. To have and to hold to said Jno Biggs and Ruth, his wife. Signed - Marmaduke (M his mark) Simms. Wit - Robert Yates*, Henry Hawkins*. Mary Simms, wife of the sd Marmaduke Simms, released her dower.

May 18, 1752 from John Biggs of CC, planter, and Ruth, his wife, to Alexander Smith Hawkins of CC, planter, for 15,000 lbs of tobacco, one tract of land, being part of a parcel of land called Combs Purchis, lying in CC, and bounded by the SW side of Zickiah Swamp, containing and laid out for about 70 acres. Ruth Biggs relinquished her right of dower. Recorded Jun 22, 1752.
