      KNOW ALL MEN by these p:sents that I JAMES POPE, Planter, in ye County of Northumberld: for diverse good causes mee moving thereunto have sold unto JOHN BOUND, Carpentr:, of ye same County, one parcell of land conteyning about Three hundred acres more or less bounding as followeth; vizt., Beginning at a marked line tree now belonging to JOSIAS DRAPER neere ye MACHOTACK PATH and from thence running along ye MACHOTICK PATH to a corner marked Oake at ye head of a Branch, from thence runninge South Southwest to ye Northerly line wch: is in ye patting, and soe away Southerly to a corner wt: Oake wch: is in ye patting & bounding upon another parcell of the same land wch: was conveyed out of the same Pattent to JOSIAS DRAPER by JAMES POPE and ye sd; BOUND; To have and to hold the sd: Land & every pte: & parcell thereof wth : ward: from me my heires or assignes unto ye sd: JOHN BOUND his heires or assignes for ever; In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale this 6th of Janry: 1669: The sd: BOUND his heires or assignes to pay ye Quitt Rents
