      THIS INDENTURE made the first day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and nineteen and in the Sixth year of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord, George, by the grace of God, King of Great Brittaine, France and Ireland. Defender of the Faith, &c. Between JOHN CRUTCHER of WESTMORELAND County in Virginia, Planter, of one part and THOMAS TAYLOR of County of Richmond in Virginia, Planter of ye other part. Wittnesseth that JOHN CRUTCHER in con- sideration of the sum of Sixty pounds of lawfull money of England to him in hand paid or secured to be paid by THOMAS TAYLOR, by these presents doth bargaine & sell in THOMAS TAYLOR his heires all that tract of land scituate in NORTHFARNHAM Parish n ye County of Richmond & bounded, Begining at a white Oak saplin in the line of Capt. GEORGE HEALE, thence North East two hundred sixty nine poles to a red Oak on ye side of a Pointe. thence South East one hundred & seventeen poles to ye line of THOMAS TAYLORs land, thence along the line of ye sd. TAYLOR's land South one hundred & eighteen poles to a Stake in ye sd. Line, thence South West two hundred forty seven poles to ye back line of WILLIAMSONs PATENT to a white Oak, thence along the said Line North Twenty & a quarter degrees West two hundred & two poles to ye begining; containing three hundred fifty eight acres, Together with all houses orchards comodities and appurtenances belonging; To have and to hold the tract of land and all other the premises unto THOMAS TAYLOR his heirs; And JOHN CRUTCHER for himself his heirs doth covenant promise and grant to & with THOMAS TAYLOR his heirs by these presents that ye said JOHN CRUTCHER at the time of the Ensealing & Delivery of these presents by virtue of a Deed granted to him bearing date the Seventeenth day of June in ye yeare of our Lord 1719 & fifth year of ye reigne of our Sovereigne Lord King George by EDMUND JENINGS Esqr., Agent and Attorney of the Right Honourable CATHERINE LADY FAIRFAX, sole Proprietor of ye Northern Neck of Virginia, which Land escheated to the said Proprietor by the death of SAMLL. COGHILL without heirs.who was lawfully possessed therefof by virtue of a Patent to him granted for it bearing date February ye 20th 1662 & is lawfully & rightfully seized of and in all the hereby granted & sold premises and JOHN CRUTCHER for himself and his heirs doth further covenant to and with THOMAS TAYLOR his heirs shall warrant and forever defend by these presents; In Wittness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto set their hand and affixed their seal his seal the day and year first above written
