      Richmond County Court 2d of October 1700
      Order of administracon is granted to HENRY ADCOCK & SUSANNA his Wife Relict of JOHN GILL deced, upon all & singular the Estate of the deced, he giving securitie &c .
      - This day HENRY ADCOCK , JOHN INGO & JOHN PHILLIPS did acknowledge themselves indebted unto his Majties justices for the said County in the penall sum of Twenty thousand pounds of good tobacco in caske to be paid &c. in case the said HENRY ADCOCK & SUSANNA his Wife Relict of JOHN GILL deced. shall not administer the Estate of the said deced, And be accountable therefore & surrender the same & every part thereof unto whom it shaJJ properly belong when thereunto lawfully required
      - Ordered that Mr. CHARLES DODSON SENR., Mr. GEO: DAVENPORT & DENIS COMMERON or any two of them some time between this & the next Court held for this County do meet at the House of JOHN GILL late deced (now of HENRY ADCOCK) and do then & there Inventory & appraise all & singular the Estate of the said deced as it shall be presented to their view And make report thereof under their hands in writing unto the
      said next Court. Capt. ]NO . TARPLY is requested to administer an Oath unto the said Appraisers for their true appraismt. as also the the Administrs. for their true discovery of the said Estate
