      THIS INDENTURE made the 2d day of February in the 3d year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second, King of Great Brittain &c. Anno Dom: 1729; Between JOHN BRAMHAM and MARY BRAMHAM his Wife of Sittenborne Pish in County of KING GEORGE, Planters, of one part and THOS: MOXLEY of same Pish and of Richmond County. Planter, of other part; Witnesseth that JOHN BRAMHAM and MARY BRAMHAM in consideracon of the sum of Three hundred pounds of good legal tobacco in hand to them paid by THOS: MOXLEY, the receipt whereof they doth hereby acknowledge, hath and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto THOS: MOXI FY and assigns our rights and titles of a p:cell of land scitaute in Fish of Sittenborne joyning upon the Branches of INDIAN RUN near the OLD COURT HOUSE in Richmond County containing about 25 acres be the same more or less, being part of the track of land formerly did belong to the deced. DANIEL JEFFERIES, Together with all houses orchards comodities and appurtenances to the p:cell of land belonging; To have and to hold the p:cell of land and other the p:mises with the appurtenances unto THOS: MOXLEY and assigns during the terms of one full whole year paying therefore unto JOHN BRAMHAM and MARY BRAMHAM their heirs the rent of one Ear of Indian Corn at the Feast of Saint Michael! the Archangel! next if lawfully demanded to the intent that by vertue of these p:sents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession THOS: MOXLEY may be in the actuall possession of the p:mises and thereby be the better enabled to take a release of the inheritance thereof to him and his heirs; In Witness whereof the p:ties first above named to these p:sent Indentures have interchangeably sett their hands and seals the day and year first above written

      THIS INDENTURE made the third day of February in the third year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George by the grace of God, King of Great Brittain France and Irland, Defender of the faith &c., And in the year of our Lord God 1729/30, Between JOHN BRAMHAM and MARY BRAMHAM his Wife of Pish of Sittenborne and County of KING GEORGE. Planters, of one part and THOMAS MOXLEY of the same Pish and County of Richmond. Planter, of other part; Witnesseth that JOHN BRAMHAM and MARY BRAMHAM his Wife in consideracon of Eighteen hundred pounds of good legal tobacco them paid by THOMAS MOXLEY, the Receipt whereof JOHN BRAMHAM and MARY BRAMHAM his Wife doth hereby acknowledge, hath and by these p:sents doth bargain sell and release unto THOMAS MOXLEY in his actuall possession now being by vertue of a bargain and sale to him thereof made for one year and by force and vertue of the Statute for transferring uses into possession, a p:cell of land scituate in Fish of Sittenbourne, containing about Twenty five acres be the same more or less being part of a track of land that formerly did belong to the deced. DANIELL JEFFRIES joyning upon the Branches of INDIAN RUNN near the OLD COUNTY COURT HOUSE; To have and to hold the p:cell of land and other the p:mises with appurts: unto THOMAS MOXLEY his heirs and JOHN BRAMHAM and MARY BRAMHAM his Wife their heirs and every p:son claiming under them shall warrant and for ever defend by these p:sents; free and clear from all incumbrances (the rents and services from henceforth to become due and payable to the Chief Lord or Lords of the Fee for and in respect of his or their Seigniory or Seigniorys only excepted and foreprized); In Witness whereof the parties first above named to these p:sent Indentures have interchangeably sett their hands and seals the day and
