    • there are two James Martin's living about the same time and place. One married Margaret Carnell d/o Joseph and died bef 1700 when James Tyer married her. There is a Page will for a James Martin probated 1706 but it appears to be for someone else.

      Margaret Cornell was never married to a James Martin.
      This is a transcription error of the abstract for the Oct 1716 administration of James Tyer and John Conner's estates. James Waters' name was incorrectly transcribed as James Martin.

      the other James Martin died 1718 married to an Elizabeth.
      He had a piece of land also called Hopewell (80 acres) but his son William sold it off in 1728.
