      IN THE NAME OF GOD, Amen, I PETER BASHAW of Westmoreland County being sick and weak of body but of perfect sence and memory thanks be to God for it, and as touching my worldly Estate I do dispose of after the following manner.
      Item, I give and bequeath unto my two Sons, PETER and WARRENER BASHAW, all my Lands and Plantation whereon I now live and the Mill that is thereunto annexed; to be equally divided between them and if either of my two Sons, PETER and WARRENER, should die before they come to age or before they sell or dispose of either of their parts of the said lands and Mill before given and bequeathed, my will is tht my Son, JAMES BASHAW, shall have the decesents part of the aforesaid Land and Mill so given and bequeathed:
      Item. I give unto SPENCE BASHAW one horse called Gray and my saddle and bridle and one brindle Cow and one Gun:
      Item. I give and bequeath unto my Wife, MARY BASHAW, and my five Children, PETER, WARNER, JAMES and MARY and SARAH BASHAW all the rest of my Estate both real and personal be it of what kind soever to be equally divided between them after my aforesaid Legacies is paid and I do appoint my Loving Friends, HENRY WASHINGTON, WM: ROE to be my hole Exors. of this my Last Will and Testament; As Witness my hand and seal this 9th day of October 1745

      Westmd. Sct. At a Court held for the said County the 26th day of Novr. 1745
      This Last Will and Testament of PETER BASHAW, deceased, was presented into Court by MARY his Relict (who made Oath thereto) and being proved by the Oaths of the witnesses thereto is admitted to Record; And for that WILLIAM ROE, one of the Exors, in the said Will appointed in open Court refused to undertake the burthen of the Egon. and also for that HENRY WASHINGTON, the other Exor. in the Will appointed, is dead, Upon the motion of the said MARY and giving WM: WEEKS and WILLIAM EDWARDS securities according to Law, Certificate is granted her for obtaining Letters of Administration thereupon with the said Will annexed in due form
