THADDY CURRY's Will
IN THE NAME OF GOD, Amen, this ye 15th of January 1750, I THADDY CURRY of County of Westmorland being very sick & weak but of perfect sence and memory, thanks be given to God, calling unto mind the mortallety of my body & knowing tht it is appointed for all men once to die, do make & ordain this my Last Will & Testament. I recommend my Soul into the hands of God that gave it & for my body, I recommend it to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discression of my Executors;
Item. I give & bequeath to my Friend, JOHN MUSE, JUNR., my horse colt and saddle & bridle and the Corn that I bought of (? D ) to feed them; I give and bequeath to EDWARD MUSE, JUNR. my Mare Tippett and bequeath to ANN MUSE twenty shillings paid by GEORGE BECKHAM.
Item. I give & bequeath to my Friend, RICHARD MUSE, three hundred pounds of tobacco & eight shillings cash by GEORGE BECKHAM. I would desire that EDWARD MUSE would pay NICHOLAS MUSE one pistole if he requires as much.
I constitute make & ordain RICHD. MUSE and JOHN MUSE, Executors of this my Last Will & Testament
Signed sealed & published and declared by the sd.

Dom: 1751 This Last Will and Testament of THADDY CURRY, deced. was presented into Court by RICHD: & JOHN MUSE, two of his Executors therein named, who made Oath thereto & being proved by the Oath of THOMAS MUSE, one of the witnesses thereto, is admitted to Record & upon the motion of the sd. Exors. & their performing what the Law in such cases require, Certificate is granted them for obtaing. a Probate thereof in due form
