Notes - Date of death is an estimate. George's will was written on 6 Apr 1694 and had been probated sometime before 1 Sep 1700, the date of his eldest son's will, in which the son refers to a grant of land from his father.
George arrived in Virginia about 1670, settling in Stafford County very near his uncle, Giles Brent. He is known to have married twice, but an earlier marriage is a possibility, as his very close friend William Fitzhugh addressed George in letters as "Dear Brother". (C.H. Brent)
