I, John McPherson Sr of CC, hereby make over to William McPherson Sr, 4 feather beds with bedsteads, cords, and covering furniture, 1 desk, 2 oval tables, 1 pair of hand mill stones with the iron works thereunto belonging, & 3 large iron pots. Jun 11, 1767 from John McPherson of CC, planter, & Sarah, his wife, to James Brown, Mercht, Prince Georges County, for 3000 This of crop tobacco, all that third part of 2 tracts of land, the one called Martins supply, containing 55 acres, the other called Martins Triangle, containing 60 acres which formerly belonged to John Martin & by him conveyed to Jacob Millar, formerly the husband of sd Sarah, by deed dated Mar 30, 1734, and recorded in CC on Apr 25 thereafter, and which third part was assigned and laid out to sd Sarah, the then widow of sd Millar, for her dower or thirds of the 2 tracts afd, both lying in CC. Jun 20, 1767 from John McPherson of CC, planter, and Sarah, his wife, which sd Sarah was the widow of John Millar, the son of Jacob, but since the death of sd John Millar, intermarried with sd John McPherson, to James Brown of Prince Georges County, Merchant, for 1200 lbs of tobacco, one third part of 2 tracts of land purchased by sd John Millar from Samuel Perrie and Margaret, his wife, by deed dated Mar 1, 1742, one of the tracts being part of a tract of land called Daniels mount, containing about 30 acres, the other of sd tracts being part of a tract of land called Johnstons retirement. The 3rd part of the sd 2 parcels was laid off to sd John & Sarah, his wife, as the dower thirds of her, the sd [blank] of and in sd 2 parcels by John Millar, the son and heir of ad John decd.
