      1, Charles Blanford of CC, am sick and weak of body but of sound and perfect memory.
      To my son Thomas Blanford 100 acres, being part of a tract of land called Ruden, to be laid off for him where he now dwells, except 1/2 acre which I give to my sister, Marget Hagan, where she now dwells, during her life, then to my son Thomas Blanford,
      To my sons Richard & Edward Blanford - the rest of a tract of land called Ruden, to be equally divided between them.
      To my son Richard Blanford - 1 2-year-old colt & 1 2-yearold heifer and 1 young sow.
      To my son Edward Blanford - 1 young sow and 1 cow and calf.
      To my son William Blanford - 40 acres called Lovejoys Comfort.

Apr 13, 1789 from William Blandford of CC, to Alexander Hamilton of Prince George's County on behalf of himself and of James Gordon, Henry Reddell, John Campbell, John Campbell Jr, Alexander Low, and William Ingram, creditors of sd William Blandford, for 10 shillings and for and in consideration of the several sums of money and tobacco herein after mentioned, due from sd William Blandford to sd James Gordon, Henry Reddell, John Campbell, John Campbell Jr, Alexander Low, and William Ingram, grants to sd Alexander Hamilton, a tract of land called Lovejoys Comfort, lying in CC, containing about 42 acres, granted to Joseph Lovejoy of Prince George's County by patent dated Aug 2, 1742, and the following Negro slaves, to wit, Sarah, about age 42, Flora, about age 23, Bob, about age 30, Moses, about age 12, Phil, about age 6, and Peter, about age 15 months, with the future increase of Sarah and Flora, for the following purposes: firstly, to pay sd Alexander Hamilton all costs of this trust; secondly, to pay the afd James Gordon, Henry Redden, John Campbell, John Campbell Jr, Alexander Low, and William Ingram, the sums of 128 £and 8 pence, due on a judgment obtained in the General Court, and 5 £1 shilling and 3 pence and 1740 lbs of crop tobacco due on a judgment obtained in CC Court by the sd James Gordon & others, and for which sums the sd William Blandford is at this time under execution with legal interest thereon until paid; thirdly, to pay sd William Blandford all such part of the sd property as may then remain in the hands of the sd Alexander Hamilton.
