"Oct. 21, 1730. Elizabeth Tenison Will - Mentions her daughter Ann Tenison, son Samuel Tenison that he should have a right to the Islands which belonged to my beloved husband deceased of the Tenisons that is over on the eastern shore bequeathed to me by his will [long blank space] and that Samuel shall sell the Islands and pay one third of the money to my daughter Ann Tenison. I bequeath
all my remaining estate and my real estate in Maryland and Virginia or elsewhere unto my son Samuel Tenison.
21 day of October 1730. Elizabeth Tenison (seal)"
Source: The above record is included on a sheet of paper captioned "Abstracts of Wills from the Will Books of Saint Mary's County, Md." by L. C. Tennis, and dated July 16, 1937.
It was furnished to me by William W. Tennis in Aug. 1997.
Comment: I have not been able to find this will, and thus cannot verify this record. All of the other St. Mary's Co. wills on the L. C. Tennis list are readily verifiable.
Assuming this record is correct, a Mrs. Elizabeth Tennison is Samuel's mother. Unfortunately, the record gives no clue as to the name of Elizabeth's husband.
If any reader of this book can authenticate this record I would very much appreciate hearing from them.
Mar. 1775 - The St. Mary's Co., Md. will of Zachariah Bond (probated Feb. 1775?) leaves to Mathew and Absalom Tennison, my sister's children, 25 pounds each.

Comment: This record establishes that Matthew and Absolam Tennison were from Samuel's 1st wife Elizabeth Bond.
Zachariah Bond's will was witnessed by William Molohon.
Recall that Samuel Tennison's dau. Mary Tennison had m. a Mr. Molahorne
