Indenture made March 26, 1767; William Wright and Deborah Wright his mother both of Charles County, Maryland, planters in consideration of the sum of 53 pounds 6 shillings currency paid by Henry Mudd, Sr., planter of Charles County, Maryland has sold part of a tract called "Forrest" containing 82 acres with the houses buildings orchards woods waterways and appurtenances and lying on the west side of Zachariah Swamp part in Charles County, Maryland and part in PGCo. Beginning at the end of Charles Stuart's 5th course. Signed William Wright, Deborah Wright in the presence of John Hepburn, William Bladen and acknowledged before John Hepburn and at the same time Ann Wright w/o William Wright relinquished her right of dower
