      Jan 28, 1787. I, John Gray of CC, planter, am sick & weak in body but of sound & perfect memory. Firstly, I want my just debts paid.
      To my son Joseph Gray - all my land and tenements.
      To my daughter Benedictor Franklin - a Negro woman named Lett.
      To my daughter Ann Butler Garrot - a Negro woman named Haney.
      To my wife Hanner Gray - a Negro woman named Sarey.
      To my children, to wit, Joseph Gray, Benedictor Franklin, Ann Butler Garrot - the rest of my estate, to be equally divided amongst them.
