      --Liber 7, pp. 601-5. This is Thomas' June 1665 patent to "St. Thomas" (400 acres, from Lewger), "Simpson's Supply" (500 acres) and "Simkin" (350 acres), all in St. Mary's Co.
      --Liber 10, Page 365. On May 2, 1659, a patent was issued to Thomas Sympson, Gent., of Charles Co., for 200 acres of land called "Sympson's Supply." The land was on the south side of the Piscataway River and on the south side of Mattawoman Creek, and adjoined land belonging to Thomas Allanson. The survey for this land was made on Nov. 12, 1656.

      Sep. 1671 - The St. Mary's Co., Md. inventory of Mr. Robert Slye, merchant, shows Thomas Simpson on the very long list of debts owed to Slye's estate.
