To eld. son Thomas and hrs., part of the afsd. tract of "Delabrook Manor" (for description see will) at death of wife; also part of "Brookfield" at 21 yrs. of age. To 2nd son Robert and hrs., residue of tract of "Delabrook Manor" at death of wife afsd., and remaining part of "Brookfield" at 21 yrs. of age; also "Crossoloth" and "The Wedge." To 3rd son Ignatius and hrs., 700 A. of "Brooke Grove." To 4th son Matthew and hrs., 500 A., "Brooke's Content, "and 300 A. of "Brooke Grove."       Editors: Thomas Brooke married Elinor, daughter of Richard and Margaret Hatton. Elinor married Henry Darnell who died testate in 1711 in Anne Arundel (Calendar, Vol. III, Page 198). Elinor Darnall [sic] died in 1725 in Anne Arundel (Calendar, Vol. V, Page 223).       By codicil testator gives to brother Thomas land nr. Newport Town, and to wife Mary land in Newport Town and land purchased from Maj. Wm. BOREMAN. To his nephew, John BOWLING, and hrs., he gives a certain plantation (unnamed) nr. Newport Town after the death of his brother Thomas, sd. John's father. By sec. Codicil dated July 17th, 1692, testator orders that should wife Mary die without issue, all lands bequesthed to her should pass to Roger and then to John, sons of brother Thomas, and their hrs.
