I just found the answer to my question - she got Howard's Thickett from her husband John Howard. Here is excerpt of John Howard's will written Dec. 30, 1695. Well there goes another theory on her identity....~ Fonda
Item I give & bequeath unto my Loving Wife Elenor Howard fifty Acres of Land being part of a Tract of Land containing One hundred & fifty Acres of Land comonly called or known by the name of the Woodyard, and also fifty Acres of Land adjoining to the Woodyard, and called by the name of Howards Thickett with all & every the Rights priviledges & appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining To have & to hold the said Two parcels of Land with the appurtenances unto her the said Elenor Howard my said my said Wife her heirs & Assignes for Ever.

Description: That tract called Good Mothers Endeavor, on the south side of Severn River, to a draught of a branch of South River, to the main branch, by land of Edwd. Dorsey, containing 285 acres.
Other Pertinent Information: It is tht intent of this deed that if Maccubin shall repay the consideration amount with interest by 1 September 1728 this deed is void.
Memorandum: 100 acres was originally granted to John Howard, AA County, decd. (or bought by him), viz one tract called Howard's Thickett containing 50 acres; part of another tract called the Woodyard containing 150 acres. These two parcels 50 acres each were given by John Howard to his wife Eleanor. These two parcels by resurvey contained 285 acres and now called Good Mothers Endeavor as by grant to Elianor dated 1 June 1698. Eleanor by her LWT gave them to her son William Maccubins.
