      Will of John Maccubbin.
      To wife Eleanor, executrix, dower rights.
      To sons Samuel, William, Zacharias, Moses and their heirs, 200 acres "Wardropp" on north side of South River equally. Said sons to be of age at 18 years.
      To Son John Maccubin [the dwelling plantation] whereon I now live, known by the name of Bramton being one hundred and forty ackers on the North side of South River being to him and his heyres for ever

      Item. I give to my four sons Samuel Maccubin, William Maccubin, Zacharier Maccubin, Moses Maccubin two hundred ackers of Land lying on the north side of South River known by the name of Wordrape to be equally divided betwixt my aforesaid four sons both in quantity and quality to them and their heyers for ever.
      Item I give unto my Son John Maccubin [the dwelling plantation] whereon I now live, known by the name of Bramton being one hundred and forty ackers on the North side of South River being to him and his heyres for ever.
      My wife Ellenor Maccubin having her life time in the aforesaid hundred and forty ackers of Land accordin to Law.
      Item. I give unto my wife Ellenour Macubin my personal Estate and to be at her disposing for the good of her children as she shall think fit. And if my wife shall marry after my decease, then my four aforesaid sons Samuel, William, Zaccariah and Moses shall be at age of eighteen yeares. But if she shall remaine a widow then not to be of age until they are twenty and one yeares old.

      Consideration: 56/02/05 pounds money of Great Britain and 20/17/00 pounds of money of Maryland.

      Description: That tract called Good Mothers Endeavor, on the south side of Severn River, to a draught of a branch of South River, to the main branch, by land of Edwd. Dorsey, containing 285 acres.
      Other Pertinent Information: It is tht intent of this deed that if Maccubin shall repay the consideration amount with interest by 1 September 1728 this deed is void.
      Memorandum: 100 acres was originally granted to John Howard, AA County, decd. (or bought by him), viz one tract called Howard's Thickett containing 50 acres; part of another tract called the Woodyard containing 150 acres. These two parcels 50 acres each were given by John Howard to his wife Eleanor. These two parcels by resurvey contained 285 acres and now called Good Mothers Endeavor as by grant to Elianor dated 1 June 1698. Eleanor by her LWT gave them to her son William Maccubins.
