1752-1757 Prince George's County, Maryland Land Records Liber NN [Abstract by Mike Marshall]; Page 261. At the request of Thomas Summers the following Lease was recorded June 26, 1754
Indenture made May 29, 1754; Benedict Calvert, Esq, of the City of Annapolis in consideration of 5 shillings as also the rents and covenants hereafter mentioned hath granted to farm let unto Thomas Summers, planter, part of a tract called "Lordships Kindness" containing 116 acres lying in PGCo and binding on the second line of Thomas Taylor's land for and during the natural lives of Thomas Summers, Rachel Summers his wife and George Summers his son paying yearly the rent of 1 pound 14 shillings sterling money and 2 capons at the Feast of Nativity of our blessed Lord and Saviour. And futher within 10 years plant a fenced orchard with 232 apple trees. Signed Benedict Calvert in the presence of George Steuart, Richard Dorsey and acknowledged before George Steuart
