      This Indenture made the twenty sixth/twenty seventh day of January 1763 between ABEDNEGO ADAMS of County of Fairfax Planter and MARY his wife of one part and JOHN McINTOSH of Colchester in County aforesaid Taylor of other part .. by deeds of Lease and Release .. Witnesseth that Abednego Adams and Mary his wife for sum one hundred and twenty pounds currt money of Virginia to him the said Abednego Adams paid by John Mcintosh have bargained and sold all that parcel of land lying in parish of Truro and County aforesaid pohick said tract of land was given & devised to Abednego Adams by the last will and Testament of WILLIAM GODFREY late of the County aforesaid deceased as by the said will recorded among the records of the County Court of Fairfax relation being thereunto had bounded Beginning at a marked red oak standing on the East side of the main run of Jonathans Creek (being the second bound tree of a parcel of land granted by the Proprietors of the Northern Neck to WILLIAM GOING & EVAN THOMAS) thence south eighty two degrees East one hundred and seven poles to a marked white oak standing on a hill side near little Sandy run thence up the said run North sixty degrees East seventy four poles to a marked Chestnut in the said run thence still up the said run North two degrees seventy poles to a marked Poplar being the corner tree of the land formerly belonging to GILES TILLET thence along the said Tillets line South eighty and an half degrees West two hundred and one poles to a white oak the said Tillets Beginning tree standing in the said main run of Jonathans Creek thence down the said run to the Beginning containing ninety acres be the same more or less and also all that parcel of land lying in the parish and County aforesaid containing one hundred acres (being the land which was granted to Abednego Adams by deed from the Proprietors office bearing date the twelfth day August 1760) bounded beginning at a white oak standing by the side of Sandy run in the line of the abovementioned tract extending thence S. 45o East one hundred and thirty three poles to a marked oak corner to WILLIAM PEAKES land then N. W. one hundred & eighty two poles to a chestnut oak then S°. S 320 W. seven poles to a poplar corner of the first mentioned tract then 2° S. 2 E. along the line of the said Tract to a chestnut oak corner of the first mentioned tract then N. 52° Wt thirty eight poles to the beginning
