Prince George's County Sct. Benjamin Duvall in the eighty second
year of his age saith that he knew the late Revd. Jacob Henderson
from the time he the said Benjamin was a boy until the said
Henderson died: that he married the widow of the said Benjamin's
grand father and after her death he married the widow Tyler
that he knew both the wives of the said Henderson and was
acquainted in the family. He also knew many of the slaves
of the said Henderson, particularly two called Jaeb and Easter
that he never heard that any of the negroes or slaves of the
said Henderson were intitled to freedom, or that they claimed
freedom; and he never heard that he can recollect that there
was a white child in the family of said Henderson and he
thinks, if he had ever heard of such a circumstance
that he should not have forgot it being acquainted in the
family and being in the neighbourhood but a few miles distant.
