      - Ordered that Capt. SAMLL. TRAVERS, Mr. SAMLL. PEACHEY & Mr. JOHN BAKER do on the 15th day of this Inst. March Inventory all singular the Estate of Mr. DENNIS MACARTY late deced and return the same under their hands in writing to the next court held for this County

      Whereas DENNIS MACARTY by his Last Will and Testamt. proved in this Court nominated two of his Children (vizt) DANIEL & KATHERINE, Minors. his joynt. Executrs: and therein also named several persons Overseers of the said Will, wch: said persons or lhe greater part of them at a Court held for this county in March last past having refused to act in Trust for this County for the sd Executrs: during their Minoritie. And the same being now proposed to severall of the said Overseers & they refusing, And for as much as JOHN BAKER. one nee rely related by Affinity to the said minor Executors. being by this court thought fitt to have administration (with the Will annexed) of the Estate of the said deced. committed to him in right of the Executrs: and he agreeing thereto. provided that the said Estate may be sold at an Out Cry, the same being thought considerably indebted, the Court have therefore granted Order of Administration (with the Will annexed) unto the said JOHN BAKER in right of the said Elecutrs: upon all & singular the Estate of the sd DENNIS MACARTY deced, he giving in Securitie &c., Also ordered that all & singular the Estate personall of the sd DENNIS MACARTY upon the 15th day of May now next following to be sold at an Out Cry to be held at the House of the sd deced. where Capt. SAMLL. TRAVERS, Mr. SAMLL. PEACHEY. Capt. ALEXR: SWAN or any two of them are requested to be pr:sent to have judgmt. confessed before them & to take securitie by & from all & every person or persons purchasing the said Estate, And at the same be entered of Record in this County

      THIS INDENTURE made the fifth day of May 1684 and in the sixth and thirtieth yeare of the Reign of oer: Soveraigne Lord Charles the second &c. Between LUKE BILLINGTON of the County of Rappa:, Gent., of the one part and DENNIS MACCARTY of the same County alsoe Gent., of the other part Witnesseth that the said LUKE BILLINGTON for the sum of Five thousand pounds of merchantable Tobo: in cask to him paid he the said LUKE BILLINGTON doth hereby confirme unto the said DENNIS MACARTY his heires all that parcell of land contayning One hundred and thirty acres being near FARNHAM CREEKE in the Parish of Farnham on the North side of Rappa: River and County of Rappa. aforesaid bounded as is herein expressed begining at two Hickory trees and a white Oake all marked standing at the head of a small branch that issueth out of a Creeke called PIPEMAKERS CREEKE there and runing thence North East to a Spanish Oake that stands on the West side of a branch that issueth out of FARNHAM CREEKE and divides this from the land of JOHN WILLIAMS deceased and runing up along the said Branch to another great Spanish Oake at the head thereof, thence N. W. to a great red Oake, thence by or near the land of the sd WILLIAMS W. S. to a great white Oake neare a branch that runs out of the said PIPEMAKERS CREEKE, thence dowse the said Branch & Creeke to the mouth of the first marked trees aforesaid and all houses buildings and all other pfitts to the said land belonging as the same is now in the possession of the said DENNIS MACARTY To have and to hold the said land with all the rights unto the said DENNIS MACCARTY his heirs forever subject to the quitrents which from henceforth shall become due and the said LUKE BILLINGTON (for the consideration aforesaid) shall and will forever warrant and defend against all persons claiming the same In Witness whereof the parties have sett their hands and seales
