  • Notes
    • NJL: either Hannah Clarke, daughter of Philip Clarke and she m. first, William Harpham and second, John Read OR she was Hannah Mackall, widow of Philip Clarke and she m. second, William Harpham who d. by 1707.

1707: Hannah Harpham possessed "Hebden's Hole", 700 ac. in St. George's 100 which was surveyed for Thomas Hebden, 2/4/1641 (Chr. of SM).

11/9/1712: Chancery case re: "Hebden Hole" in SMC in which the land was divided between Ignatius Fenwick and his wife Ellen of the one part and John Read and his wife Hannah on the other part (MD Chancery Records). (This is Ellen Clarke and Hannah Clarke, daughters of Philip Clarke and Hannah Mackall).

On the basis of this chancery case and because both Ellen and Hannah were involved, I suspect it was Hannah Mackall, widow of Philip Clarke who m. second, William Harpham.
