Aug 21, 1739 from Bayne Smallwood of CC, planter, to Robert Frankling of CC, planter, for 8500 lbs tobacco and for divers other good causes, all my right that I have by virtue of an escheat warrant granted to me in May, 1738 for 500 acres of land formerly taken up by George Bradshaw, and conveyed to Richard Randall, and all that part of the said tract of land formerly called the Expectation but by the last survey called Winters' Possession, lying in CC in the woods, containing about 225 acres. Further, it is the true intent of these presents that as the patent of the abovesd land is not now issued, that the said Robert Frankling shall be clear of all charges that shall accrue on the said land, to hold, occupy, possess, and enjoy the same as fully as if it was already issued. By virtue of that act, dated May 15, 1751, for 10,000 lbs of crop tobacco, and for divers good causes, have sold to sd Franklin, a tract of land called Randall's Addition, lying in the Parish and County afd, bounded by Bradshaws Branch, containing and laid out for about 200 acres.
