      Subject: RE: John Boon

It was JMP's book that said that Boon was one of the key indicators tying the Marshall records together.

      John Marshall (1113) died in December 1793, (K.G. WB 2, Page 173),
leaving the land and mill to his wife, Issa (Isabelle?) "to raise my children."
The land and mill were sold by Issa, then residing in Westmoreland County,
in February of 1796, by a quitclaim deed to Daniel McCarty Fitzhugh, the
children apparently not being of age to sign, but a further deed was made in
1811, after the children were of age, which was signed by the widow, Issa,
Robert Price Marshall (11131) and wife Frances or Fanny, and Elizabeth
Pickett (11132) and George Pickett, her husband.
The will is witnessed by W. Boon, Sr., John Dye, and Samuel Marshall.
(This is but one of many deeds, wills, etc. previously listed which were
witnessed by a Boon, one of the key indicators tying the Marshall records
      together.)
