Whereas WILLIAM WALLER of your sd County Gent and ANNE his Wife by their Deeds of Lease & Release dated the 8th & 9th days of April hath sold unto ALEXANDER PARKER of the County of Essex one Lott in the TOWN of TAPPAHANNOCK And Whereas the said ANN is Impotent and not able to travel so far as to the Court of the County of Essex to acknowledge the said Deed therefore we, the case of said ANNE commisserating, do give unto you power to receive the acknowledgement of said ANNE (having first examined her privily and apart from her husband touching her consent) to certifie the same and return to the Justices of the County Court of Essex to the end the same may be recorded.       MEMO. Capt. Benjamin Cave by agreement is to pay 425 pounds Tobacco being half of the rent for the year 1746 notwithstanding
