I would like to know if anyone knows who the minor children were of The John Simpson who died in 1744/45.The article says that John married Elizabeth Naylor in 1735 and that she died about 1739. It says that Abraham & Francis were born about 1735. My Daniel was born between 1735/40. The article said that John's 2nd wife, Mary, died about 1745. Who was put in charge of the small children. I believe one of the minor children was my Daniel Simpson, who fought in The Revolution. Most of his records are in Spotsylvania,Va. Is there a court order putting someone in charge of those children?

I am interested in The Simpsons' Of Spotsylvania and Stafford County, Va. I know My 5th Great Grandfather is Daniel Sinpson SR. He is not listed on your website. I believe Daniel, William, and Francis are brothers. Abraham is also listed in the tax records of Spotsylvania, Va. during the years of 1782 through 1815. At which time Some of the children of Daniel Sr. went to Bourbon County,Ky. That was after the settlement of the Will of Daniel Sr. and not long after Jane Simpson, wife of Daniel Simpson, died. That would be sometime after 1814. She was no longer on the tax records there. I have more info. Hope someone can make a connection.
