      Subject: Lancaster connections

Saw your Lancaster roots entries on Rootsweb.com and thought you might be interested in the attached marriage bond of what I believe to be my Lancaster ancestor.

I can't help but wonder if some of the census entries may be accidentally interchanged. My Robert lived in Athens, Fayette Co. where my GGgrandfather Jeptha was born in 1817.

Any thought on this one? Jessamine is the next county south of Fayette.

I got to view the bond itself and copied the text of it. Blanks indicate words that I could not read.

      Would enjoy hearing from you.

      Regards,
      Robert Burton
