THIS INDENTURE made the last day of January 1681 betweene HENRY WILLIAMS of the Parish of Farnham and County of Rappa: and SARAH his Wife, Daughter and sole heiress of WM. BLACK deced, of the one part and ROBERT BAYLLIS SENIOR of the said Parish and County, also Planter, of the other part, Witnesseth that the said HENRY WILLIAMS and SARAH his Wife for consideration of three thousand pounds of every way well conditioned tob; and cask to them in hand paid or secured to be paid doe sell unto the said ROBERT BAYLIS his heires and assignes Ninety seaven acres of land lying in the said County of Rappa. on the North side of the RIVER neer the head of RICHARDS CREEK beginning at a Spanish Oak neere the land of Mr. GILES WEBB whence running N.N.W.to a white Oake, whence E. by N. to a red Oake in a line of land belonging to MILES HUGHILL, whence S. E. and finally Westerly to the place begun including the aforesd. quantity the same being granted to the said WILLIAM BLACK by Patent dated the 22d day of April' 1668 and all and singular the right and profitts to said land belonging To have and to hold unto the said ROBERT BAYLIS his heires and assignes from henceforth forever subject nevertheless to the quit rents which from henceforth shall become due In Witness whereof the parties aforesaid have sett their hands and seales Sealed and Delivered in

- Upon the Petition of LETTICE WILLIAMS for the Division of the Estate of her Husband, HENRY WILLIAMS, late of this County deced, and also that she make take into her custody the Estate of JANE WILLIAMS, her Daughter an Infant, and one of the Legatees of the said deced, Ordered that WM. WOODBRIDGE, JOSPEH DEEKE, ANDREW DEW and THO: DEW or any three of them sometime betweene this and the next Court held for this County do meet att the house of the said deced and do then and there according to the best of theire Judgments make a true & equall division of the Estate of the said deced, and make report of theire proceedings therein to the said next Court, And tht the said LETTICE after such division do take into her cutody the Estate of the said JANE, the Infant aforesaid, she giving security for the same according to Law
