      THIS INDENTURE made the Eleventh day of October Anno Dom:1717 Between EDMOND McLINCHE of the Parish of Sittenbourn in County of Richmond, Planter, of one part and WILLIAM BROWN of the same Parish and County, Taylor, of other part; Witnesseth that EDMOND McLINCHE for the sume of Five shillings to him in hand paid by WILLIAM BROWN, by these p:sents doth bargain and sell unto WILLIAM BROWN & assignes a parcell of land scituate in Parish of Sittenbourn containing about Thirty acres be the same more or less being part of the tract of Land which sd: EDMOND McLINCHE now possesseth and bounded; Beginning at a red Oak standing nigh an Old Feild known by ye name of the SAKEMOREs OLD FEILD or MATHEWES OLD FEILD, thence along a line of marked trees on the Eastermost side thereof to and over a Deep Gully cutting over some steep points into a Deep Branch to a marked green Poplar nigh to EDMOND McLINCHE's Spring Branch, thence up the sd: Branch to a Spanish Oak in a line of the sd: BROWN's, thence along the sd: BROWN's line to the line of land which the sd. BROWN bought of FRANCIS TERRITT, thence along the sd, line to the beginning red Oak, Together with all houses orchards priviledges and appurtenances belonging; To have and to hold the parcell of land unto WILLIAM BROWN and assignes dureing and unto the full end of one whole year paying therefore unto EDMOND McLINCHE his heirs ye Rent of one Ear of Indian Corne at the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel next if lawfully demanded to the intent that by vertue of these p:sents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession WILLIAM BROWN may be in ye actual! possession of the

      THIS INDENTURE made the Twelfth day of October Anno Domini 1717 Between EDMUND McLINCHE of Parish of Sittenbourn in County of Richmond, Planter, of one part and WILLIAM BROWN of same Parish and County, Taylor, of other part; Witnesseth that EDMUND McLINCHE for the sume of Twenty five hundred pounds of good legal! tobacco to him paid by WILLIAM BROWN, by these p:sents doth bargain sell release and confirm unto WILLIAM BROWN (in his actual! possession now being by vertue of a Bargain & Sale to him made of the land for one year and by vertue of the Statute for transferring uses into possession) his heirs a parcell of land scituate in Parish of Sittenbourn containing about Thirty acres be the same more or less being part of the tract of land which EDMOND McLINCHE now possesseth and bounded (the description of the bounds of the land repeated as in the foregoing Lease); To have and to hold the parcell of land unto WILLIAM BROWN his heirs and EDMOND McLINCHE and his heirs the land unto WILLIAM BROWN his heirs against all persons shall warrant and for ever defend by these p:sents, free and clear from all lncumbrances whatsoever; In Witnesse whereof the parties first above named to these p:sent Indentures have interchangably sett their hands & seales the day and year first above written Sealed and Delivered in ye p:sence of (the words containing about Thirty acres be the same more or less being first interlined)

      THIS INDENTURE made the Fifth day of May Anno Dom: 1718 Between EDMOND McLINCHE of Parish of Sittenbourn in County of Richmond, Planter, of one part and EDWARD BARROW of same Parish and County, Gent., of other part; Witnesseth that EDMOND McLINCHE for sum of Five shillings to him in hand paid by EDWARD BARROW by these presents doth bargain and sell unto EDWARD BARROW and assignes all that parcell of land containing by estimation with ye Swamp therein he- longing Thirty acres be the same more or less being part of a greater tract sold by JAMES ORCHARD to JOHN BIRKET by Deed bearing date the Sixth day of March 1688, and by the sd. BIRKET sold and assigned to the sd; EDMOND McLINCHE, and is part of a Pattent granted to Capt. JOHN WEIRS the last day of March in year of our Lord 1655, which sd: land hereby sold is bounded; Beginning at a red Oak corner to the land the sd. EDWARD BARROW bought from SHIPPY's Heirs, extending thence West 3d. South 110 poles to a Maple at the mouth of HARRISONs Spring Branch in ye Swamp of CLIFTS CREEK, thence along the sd: Swamp South 20d: West 54 poles to an Ash by the Road side, thence East 2d. South (along the Run of another Branch) 134 poles to a large Poplar above ye mouth of EDMONDS Spring Branch and corner to WILLIAM BROWNs land bought of sd. EDMOND, thence along a crooked line of the sd. BROWN North Easterly 58 poles to the beginning red Oak, Together with all houses orchards rents issues and profitts thereof; To have and to hold the parcel! of land unto EDWARD BARROW & assignes during the term of one whole year paying unto EDMOND McLINCHE his heirs the rent of one Ear of Indian Coyne at the Feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin if lawfully demanded, to the end that by vertue of these p:sents and of the Statute for transfering uses into possession said EDWARD BARROW may be in the actual! possession of the p ;misses and thereby be ye better enabled to accept a release of the freehold and inheritance thereof: In Witnesse whereof the parties first abovenamed to these p;sent Indenture have interchangeably sett their hands and seals the day and year first above written

      THIS INDENTURE made the Sixth day of May Anno Domini 1718 Between EDMOND McLINCHE of the Parish of Sittenbourn in County of Richmond, Planter, of one part and EDWARD BARROW of the same Parish & County, Gent., of other part; Witnesseth that EDMOND McLINCHE for sume of Two thousand five hundred pounds of good tobacco to him in hand paid by EDWARD BARROW by these p:sents doth bargain sell release and confirme unto EDWARD BARROW (in his actuall possession now being by vertue of a Bargain and Sale to him made and by force of the Statute for transferring uses into possession ): his heirs all that parcel! of land containing by estimation with the Swamp thereto belonging Thirty acres be the same more or less being part of a great tract sold by JAMES ORCHARD to JOHN BIRM by Deed bearing date the Sixth day of March 1688, and by sd. BIRKET sold and assigned to EDMOND McLINCH and is part of a Pattent granted to Capt. JOHN WEIRE the last day of March in year of our Lord 1655, which sd.
