      BROWN, FRANCIS, 10 November, 1690; 3 February, 1691.
      In the name of God Amen
      I ffrancis Brown senior in the parish of South ffarnham in the County of Rapp being very sick and weake of body butt of perfect sense and memory doe make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and forme ffolowing I give and bequeath my souk unto Al-mighty God that gave it me with a sure and certayne hope of a joy-full Resurrection through the merits of my Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and my body unto my mother the earth to be decently interred and for my worldly Estate in manner and form following after my just and Lawfall debts are satisfied.

      I give and bequeath unto my son ffrancis Brown after mine and my Loving wife Elizabeth decease all that necke of Land Lying on the north side of my devident of Land I now live on bounded as followeth that is to say strayt away through and mild field from the Run of the deviling branch the mill road which goes to my son Daniel goes over & for a small branch neare my ould dwelling house called by the name of the spring branch which sayd Land I give and bequeath unto my said son ffrancis to him and his heirs forever.
      I also give and bequeath unto my son Daniel Brown after my and my Loving wife Elizabeth decease all that Rest of my land I am now possessed with all my plantation and housing to him and his heires to have and to hould in fee simple for ever also itt is my will and dealer that my household goods be equally divided between my two sons ffrancis and Daniel both in quality and goodness to them and their heirs to have and to hould in fee simple for ever also it is my will and desier there be a row of orchard trees planted along ye sayd ould field to devide the above sayd Land. I also give and bequeath unto my sons ffrancis and Daniel my parcell of Land Lying on the south side of pescataway Creeke called by the name of ye wading place poynt equally between them and their heirs forever I alsoe give and bequeath unto my fower daughters Elizabeth, Sarah, Mary and Rebecca one shilling apeace to be payd them by my lawful executor or executrix I also give and bequeath unto Daniel Brown the son of my son Francis Brown one feather bed with the furniture belonging unto itt to him and his heirs forever after my and my "sites decease.
      I give and bequeath unto my Loving wife Elizabeth all the Rest of my moveable Estate that I am now possessed with to have and to hould without any Lett or molestation to her and her heirs forever I also give and bequeath unto my flower Godsons that is Joseph and John Edmondson and Ffras Brown the son of Daniell Brown senior my neighbour and ffra Graves the son of Ffras Graves deceased to every one of them one pocket bible of fine or six shillings price to be truly payd them after my decease by my Law-full executor or executrix I alsoe apoynt my Loving wife Elizabeth my sole and whole executrix of this my Last will and testament and this my Last will to cut off and disannull all fformer wills whatsoever as witness my hand and seal this 10th day of novher 1690
