      BROWN, FRANCIS, 10 November, 1690; 3 February, 1691.
      In the name of God Amen
      I ffrancis Brown senior in the parish of South ffarnham in the County of Rapp being very sick and weake of body butt of perfect sense and memory doe make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and forme ffolowing I give and bequeath my souk unto Al-mighty God that gave it me with a sure and certayne hope of a joy-full Resurrection through the merits of my Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and my body unto my mother the earth to be decently interred and for my worldly Estate in manner and form following after my just and Lawfall debts are satisfied.

      I give and bequeath unto my son ffrancis Brown after mine and my Loving wife Elizabeth decease all that necke of Land Lying on the north side of my devident of Land I now live on bounded as followeth that is to say strayt away through and mild field from the Run of the deviling branch the mill road which goes to my son Daniel goes over & for a small branch neare my ould dwelling house called by the name of the spring branch which sayd Land I give and bequeath unto my said son ffrancis to him and his heirs forever.
      I also give and bequeath unto my son Daniel Brown after my and my Loving wife Elizabeth decease all that Rest of my land I am now possessed with all my plantation and housing to him and his heires to have and to hould in fee simple for ever also itt is my will and dealer that my household goods be equally divided between my two sons ffrancis and Daniel both in quality and goodness to them and their heirs to have and to hould in fee simple for ever also it is my will and desier there be a row of orchard trees planted along ye sayd ould field to devide the above sayd Land. I also give and bequeath unto my sons ffrancis and Daniel my parcell of Land Lying on the south side of pescataway Creeke called by the name of ye wading place poynt equally between them and their heirs forever I alsoe give and bequeath unto my fower daughters Elizabeth, Sarah, Mary and Rebecca one shilling apeace to be payd them by my lawful executor or executrix I also give and bequeath unto Daniel Brown the son of my son Francis Brown one feather bed with the furniture belonging unto itt to him and his heirs forever after my and my "sites decease.
      I give and bequeath unto my Loving wife Elizabeth all the Rest of my moveable Estate that I am now possessed with to have and to hould without any Lett or molestation to her and her heirs forever I also give and bequeath unto my flower Godsons that is Joseph and John Edmondson and Ffras Brown the son of Daniell Brown senior my neighbour and ffra Graves the son of Ffras Graves deceased to every one of them one pocket bible of fine or six shillings price to be truly payd them after my decease by my Law-full executor or executrix I alsoe apoynt my Loving wife Elizabeth my sole and whole executrix of this my Last will and testament and this my Last will to cut off and disannull all fformer wills whatsoever as witness my hand and seal this 10th day of novher 1690

      BEE IT KNOWNE unto all men by these presents that I FRANCIS BROWNE of the Pish of Farneham in the County of Rappa wth the free and voluntary consent of my lawful Wife ELIZABETH BROWNE doe for the valluable consideracon of three thousand six hundred pounds of Tob and Caske to me in hand paid by RICHD GLOVER of Rappa. aforesaid Gent for wch I the aforesd Francis Browne doe accquit and discharge the said Richard Glover and doe for me my heires bargaine and sell unto the said Richard Glover his heires all that neck or parcell of land scituate and adjoyning to the Land of THOMAS COOP. THO. HARPER and WM RICHARDS and to the cleare ground of my now dwelling plantacon being at the head of Piscatacon Creeke on the South side of Rappa River the bounds of the said Neck of Land begining at a marked white oake of Wm Richards and runing from thence alonge by the line of Thos Coop and Tho Harp to a great Branch being the lower end of the said Necke and from thence runing by the side of the great branch to a small branch runing Eastwardly joyning uppon the cleare ground of Francis Browne aforemenconed & soe to the head of the small branch wch is neare the Pathes side wch leads to the Plantacon of Francis Browne aforesd (a marked red oake standing by the Paths side) and from thence for Breadth to a marked Gum of Wm. Richards and from thence runing by the same line of Wm. Richards a myle into the woods and soe to the head of the sd Branch where it begann To Have and To Hold all the land con teyned within the Bounds above menconed be it two hundred acres more or less with all rights and privilidges thereunto belonging unto the said Richard Glover his heirs to the true Intent and meaning of the Pattent of the sd land Cont. one thousand one hundred acres Furthermore the aforesd Francis Browne wth the consent of my lawful Wife above menconed warrant the land. In Wittness whereof the above menconed have hereunto sett our hands and seales this 27th day of February 1666.

      BEE IT KNOWNE UNTO ALL MEN by these presents that I ELIZA. BROWNE Lawful Wife of FRANCIS BROWNE of the County of Rappa, doe constitute ordaine and appoynt my Trusty and faithfull Fricnd NATH PAXTON to be my truc & lawful] Attorncy for me to accknowledge my whole right & in trest in all yt: Neck of land wch my aforesd Husband have sold and deliver'd unto RICH GLOVER and his heires for Ever according as it is menconed in the convayance dated the 27th of Febry 1666 I the said Eliza. Browne having received already of the aforesd Rich: Glover the valluable consideracon of one years schooling for my Daughter SARAH BROWNE wch is already performed by the aforesd Richard Glover. I doe therefore authorize my aforemenconed Attorney to assure and confirme unto the said Richard Glover his heires all my whole right Title and Interest in the land aforemenconed in as full & as ample a manner as if I my Selfe were personally present justifying and confirming wtsoever my said Attorney shall doe in the premiser As Wittness my hand and seale this 2 th day of Febry Ano Domi. 1666

      IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen, I ELIZABETH BROWNE being sick & weake of body but of sound & perfect memory blessed and praised be Almighty God for the same doe make & ordaine this to be my last Will & Testamt. in manner & forme following, first & principally I comend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God who gave it hopeing through the pretious death & passion of or: blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to receive full pardon & forgiveness of all my sinns & a joyfull Ressurecon at the last Day as for my body I committ to the Ground to be decently & Christianly buryed att the discretion of my Exer. hereafter named and as for the worldly goods that God of his Mercy hath lent me I will & bequeath thm in manner & forme following (vizt.)
      Imprimis I give unto ROBERT MILLS the halfe part of the goods that now is att his house a Cow a Calfe and a horse & whatt tobaccoe is due to me except what is herein bequeathed, a pott, a kettle & fower pewter dishes
      Item I give unto EDMOND PAGITT SENIOR the other halfe pte: of the goods that is now att ROBERT MILLS and a Steere att my Son, FRANKE BROWNEs & one hoggshead of tobacco att BENJAMIN MATHEWS, a pott, a dripping pan, a spitt & four pewter dishes
      Item I give unto JOHN MILLS the hdd. of tobo: due to me from him
      Item I give unto my Daugher, SARAH, twelve pence
      Item I give unto my Sonn; FRANCIS BROWNE, twelve pence
      Item I give unto my Son, DANIELL BROWNE, twelve pence and of this my last Will & Testamt. I make ROBERT MILLS and EDMOND PAGETT joynt Ezers. & doe hereby utterly
      disallow revoake and annuli all & every former Testamts. Wills Legacyes bequest and
