As George and Sarah Weedon appear in later records as man and wife, it is certain that George Weedon married Sarah Turner, daughter of John Turner, and it appears very likely about May 1659. As John Washington witnessed the deed of gift from Hale to Sarah Weedon, mention of the document is made by Mr. C.A. Hoppin in his volume, The Washington Ancestry, p. 154.
