Hannah Robinson's Will
In the Name of God Amen, I Hannah Robinson of the county of Westmoreland do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner followeth.
Imprimis, I give and bequeath unto my sister Appia Daingerfield and my nephew John Pettit all and every part of my estate that I have and may have of what kind soever to be equally divided between them.
Item I desire my estate may not be appraised.
Lastly, I nominate and appoint Beckwith Butler and John Pettit executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 20th day of July 1778.

at a court held for Westmoreland County the 29th day of September 1770 this will was proved according to law by the oaths of Mary Carter and Juriah Gibson two of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded; and on the motion of John Pettit one of the executors therein named who made oath thereto according to law and together with William Fauntleroy and John Fauntleroy his securities entered into and acknowledged bond with condition as the law directs, certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.
