i. Seymour Hooe was born 13 Jun 1735, and died Mar 1783. He married Sarah Alexander, daughter of John Alexander and Lucy Thornton. She was born 7 Nov 1759.
ii. Gerard Hooe was born 14 Sep 1733, and died 29 Dec 1785 in Barnsfield, Hooe's Ferry, Stafford Co. VA. He married Sarah Barnes. She was born 20 Jul 1742, and died 1805.

give and devise to my granddaughter MARY ALEXANDER one half of my tract of land lying in county of Culpepper .. also slaves (18 named).. also all my household and kitchen furniture ..
I give to my granddaughter LUCY ALEXANDER the other half of my tract of land lying in county of Culpepper .. slaves (18 named) .. (in both cases to be delivered to them on marriage or when they shall attain age twenty one years) ..
