      Pages 100a-101. Will of Lawrence Abbington of Appomattocks in the Parish of Washington in the Countie of Westmoreland, planter, being sick of bodie, dated 1669.
      Unto my sonn Lawrence Abbington one young black mare, and the first mare foale to my eldest daughter Mary Abbington, the second mare foale unto my daughter Lydia Abbington, the third mare foale unto my daughter Abigail and the fourth mare foale unto my daughter Jane Abbington.
      Unto my daughter Mary Abbington the cattle that is recorded in Court.
      Unto my daughter Lydia all the cattle that is recorded in Court.
      Their cattle be delivered when they come at age or at the day of marriage.
      The rest of my estate unto my loving wife Lydia Abbington, declaring her to be executrix.
      My welbeloved frinds Thomas Butler the Elder overseer of my will and my welbeloved frind George Hayles to see the same truly performed.
      I owe unto Coll. Washington 200 pounds of tobacco an Is bushell of salt.
      Debts due to me from John Birt, 250 pounds of tobacco, from Thomas Webb, 200 pounds of tobacco paid unto Mr. Foxhall, from Edward Marle, 50 pounds of tobacco, Jane Browne, 50 pounds of tobacco, Thomas Marten, 150 pounds of tobacco.

      To Lawrence Abbington one cow and a heifer, cropt on the right eare and underkeild and three slitts in the left.
      To Abigail Abbington a two year old heifer and a cow calfe, the right eare underkeild and the left cropt and two slitts.
      To Jeane Abbington a cow and a cow calfe, the right eare underkeild and the left ear cropt and two slitts.
      Likewise foure breeding sowes a peece with pigg or piggs by their side.
      To be delivered at day of marriage or at the age of one and twentie. In case they should all die, to returne to the mother.
