Price: 5 shillings and consideration of the agreement made between JAMES NEALE and JAMES [CHARLES] EGARTON prior to the marriage of CHARLES EGARTON and MARY NEALE, daughter of the said JAMES NEALE. Property: A 600 acre tract on Piscataway River bounding on land of RANDOLPH FENTON {HANSON} and on Indian field [much of the description covered by an ink blot]. Said land was part of 3000 acres granted to WILLIAM CALVERT, Esq., deceased, 11 February 1662. Said 600 acre tract was given by WILLIAM CALVERT to his daughter ELIZABETH at her marriage to JAMES NEALE, and was excluded from the conveyance whereby CHARLES CALVERT, son and heir of said WILLIAM CALVERT, deceased, conveyed title to 2400 acres of the tract to CHARLES EGARTON, deceased father of the CHARLES EGARTON who was a party to these presents. For 125£a 600 acre tract of land, part of 3,000 acres in Prince George's County on the east side of the Piscataway River and the south side of Piscataway Creek; bounded by land of Randolph Henson and a ashen swamp creek near an Indian field. On 11 Feb 1662 William Calvert, Esq'r, decd, gave 600 of this 3,000 acres to his daughter Elizabeth when she married James Neale of Charles County, Gent. Charles Calvert, son and heir of William Calvert, for valuable consideration sold the remaining 2,400 acres to Charles Egerton, deceased, father to the said Charles named above; bounded by land of Cap. Johns Heck, Francis Marburie, and land where old Piscataway Fort stood
