      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I DAVYD FOX of the County of Lancr: in Rappahannocke River in Virga: gent, as wel for the natural love & affection I bear unto HANNAH FOX, my Daughter, as also for divers other good causes & convideracons me thereunto moveing have given for me my heirs & assignes unto ROBERT TOMLYN of the County of Rappa: in Rappahannock River aforesd., Planter, all those lands plate negros cattle household good & chattels whatsoever here after more plicularly named & expressed vizt. all my plantation containing Eight hundred acres of land more or less together with all houses edifices & buildings thereunto belonging & appertaining with the same now used occupyed & enjoyed which Plantation is set scituate & being the aforesd. County of RAPPAH; near the mouth of PISCATICON CREEK and is now in the occupation of me the aforesd. DAVYD FOX or my assigns & also all thos cattle hoggs vhatseover wch; are now going depastureing & belonging in & to the sd Plantacon and also all my Plate I am now possessed withal vizt, three dozen of large silver spoones marked DFM: one large sullubub dish with a cover, one large tankard containining one (blurred) large Candle Cup engraven about one quart, one sugar box in form of a Scollup Shel, one engraven fruit dish with a foot, one large salt seller, two small & one hensher salt, two large substantial porrengers marked D.F.M. one wyne bowie, one large sack cup, one large dram cup, one large bason containing about one gallon, one plain candle cup wth: three leggs, one plain fruit dish, one silver drinking bowie, one old silver spoone, six Negroes vizt. Mingo, Nan, Orroy, Sampson, Doll & Barbary, one grey mare underkeeled on the left ear, one new featherbed wth: furniture, six prs. of new holland sheets, eight new pewter dishes large, one pewter flaggon, six turkey leather chairs, twenty eves, one large iron pott & one bras kettle, To have & to hold the sd lands & tenements Plate, Negros cattle & all other the goods & chattels whatsoever before menconed & expressed unto the sd ROBT. TOMLYN his heirs & assignes forever to the several uses & p:poses hereafter more & p:ticularly menconed & expressed that is to the use & behoofe of me the sd DAVYD FOX during my natural life and after my decease the sd lands & tenements to be & remain to the use & behoof of the sd HANNAH FOX and the heirs of her body lawfully begotten for ever & for want of such heirs of her body lawfully begotten as aforesd. to the right heirs of me the sd DAVYD FOX forever, The sd Plate, Negros, cattle goods & chattels before menconed with al their several increase after my decease to be & remain to the sole & only p:peruse & behoof of the sd HANNAH FOX her Exrs. Admrs. & assignes forever & to none other use or uses And I the sd DAVYD FOX have put the sd ROBT. TOMLYN in possession of all the premises whatsoever before menconed and in these p:sents expressed by the deliverey of one Silver spoone, part of the p:mises in the name of seizen.
