In 1765 James Turner and wife Kerenhappuck sold their dwelling and former residence with 100 acres of land to William Lightfoot. This was described as the land Isaac Norman gave James Turner, 1733, on his marriage to Isaac's daughter, Kerenhappuck. According to their descendants, they moved to Halifax County, Virginia

I seriously doubt any connection between James Turner (spouse Kerenhappuch Norman) and the Col. Thomas Turner family of King George Co. despite the geographic proximity of where the families resided at different times there in VA. We have documented the DNA signature in our Turner DNA Project (under Family Tree DNA Company) a descendant of Col. Thomas Turner (with a superb pedigree) and it does not match that of the James Turner and Kerenhappuch Norman Turner descendants.
